What are SCAMS?
First of all before introducing you people to the formula I use to avoid scam websites, if you are not aware of what actually scams are than let me give some introduction to scams which is the biggest problem that people face when using the internet and trusting different websites. So basically all those websites which claim to be out there for a particular purpose and in reality they don't really care about their promises or claims but just want to get your emails and money if you spend on their website, these websites are known as Scam.
Different Types of Scam Websites:
There are different types of scam websites some of which are mentioned here:
- A website that claims to pay you in return for any investment made might be scam and they just want your money that you invest instead of giving you anything in return so yeah these are investment sites though not all investment sites are scam but most are.
- Any website that requires you to subscribe to it by email can be a scam and it might be aimed towards selling your email and important information to others, now go back to your hotmail, gmail or yahoo account to see the number of extra useless mails that you received which are not really worth your inbox or junk folder even.
- Any website that even requires you to spend more time on it before you get anything out of it might be a scam and it might be only focused towards increasing its views and google ranking rather than satisfy what its viewers want.
Scam or not?
Today I am going to teach you how to avoid scam websites or judge properly whether a site is really legit or not. I know how it feels to get betrayed by scam websites, they waste two of your most precious things in today's world that is Time and Money. However, There is one trick to knowing how whether a site is legitimate or not. Okay, so here is the formula that I personally use to find out whether a website is scam or not.The Formula:
- Go to Google Search Engine.
- Write the name of the website that you wanna know about whether it is a scam or not.
- Write 'scam' next to the name of the website and press enter.
- Now the first ten results should most probably consist of many reviews about the website that u mentioned, so all u have to do now is to go through more than 5 reviews about that site from different sites.
- Judge whether the review has got enough comments or response about the review to decide whether the review is really legit or is it just promoting another website or destroying a legit websites reputation.
- Read the comments on the review to know how much the people trust the review writer.
- Another tip you should know is to use your common sense especially when you see a site that claims to give something that is really out of this world like you invest a $1 into that website and they pay you back $100 in a month is just too good to be true so yeah avoid such claims.
